“Dearly Beloved”
An Interactive Fashion Exhibition
A collaborative exhibition for the San Diego Design Week 2021 presented by Mingei International Museum. The exhibit was sold out and it placed in the Top 5 Program in 2021.
It showcased Costume design, Ready-to-Wear, and Streetwear collections by Riza Clave with her mentorship program students; wndrboy, ciElo, alesi, and Sonderbar by Faith. The exhibit’s purpose was to show how Fashion can be a vessel to represent, celebrate, and amplify the importance of AAPI and Filipino-American Culture in the Fashion and Entertainment industries.
“Dearly Beloved” was a representation of being resilient in the face of adversities, connecting modern and traditional lifestyles, and bridging mixed identities and upbringing.
